Title: Founder
I am Angela, and I have the honor of being Sarah's stepmom. After the devastating loss of Sarah and her three beautiful children, I felt a deep calling to start this foundation in their memory. My goal is to ensure that no parent has to endure the unimaginable heartache of burying a child or grandchild due to domestic violence. To experience such a tragic loss four times at once is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
The loss of Sarah, Carter, Ashton, and Aubree has left a profound emptiness in our lives. No words can adequately capture the depth of the pain and despair we feel each day. It is a sorrow that permeates every aspect of our existence, a reminder of what we have lost.
In light of this tragedy, Allen and I dedicate as much time as possible to nurturing and supporting Sarah's surviving daughter and son. They are our lights of hope and joy amidst the darkness. Additionally, we cherish the time spent with our other grandchildren, who bring us comfort and laughter. Losing Sarah and three of our precious grandchildren opened our eyes to how abruptly life can change.
Through this foundation, we aspire to be a source of support and assistance for those in need, providing resources and care to those affected by domestic violence, so they can avoid the heartache that we have endured. Our mission is to honor Sarah and her children by making a positive impact in our community and advocating for the prevention of such tragedies.

Allen is Sarah's dad, a man with a heart of gold hidden behind a tough exterior. Known for his playful sense of humor, he always has a repertoire of quirky nicknames for Sarah, calling her things like "turkey lips" and "Sarah bones". However, the recent loss of Sarah, along with her children Carter, Ashton, and Aubree, has shattered him deeply, leaving him reeling in grief. Despite his rugged demeanor and sarcastic jokes, Allen is truly a big ol’ softy, always the first to offer a comforting hug or a listening ear.
In the quiet solitude of the night, Allen and I would often jump on our Harley, late at night as we rode under a blanket of stars. We invariably found ourselves stopping in front of Sarah's house. The silent shadow of that place loomed large between us during those late-night rides, a reminder of what we had lost. It was a strange ritual, pausing at the threshold of memories, harboring unspoken worries. None of us realized the true danger that lurked within the walls of Sarah's house, hidden well beneath the surface, waiting to unfold its chilling tale.

My name is Kayley and I had the pleasure of being Aubree Zent’s Aunt for the 2 short years she was alive. I enjoyed spending nearly every weekend with her, reading her favorite books, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and going to Gigi and Pop Pop’s house. Since her unexpected death, I have been looking for ways that I can make something positive come from all of this. Having the opportunity to be a part of the Sarah Zent Foundation is allowing me to positively impact other families who may be going through a similar situation. Keeping Aubree’s memory alive has quickly become one of my biggest goals. Together, I believe that we can make a difference.

Title: Advocacy/Board member
Hi, I'm Shannon. I am Sarah's sister-in-law, a mother of three, and a registered nurse. While I was never privileged enough to meet Sarah, Carter, Ashton, or Aubree, I was there with their families when this unthinkable tragedy occurred. And though I was still new to the family at the time, I was fortunate enough to get to know Sarah and her beautiful babies through them. I am beyond honored to be a part of the Sarah Zent Foundation and to advocate for not only women, but families who are touched by domestic violence. "Unable are the loved to die.
